Biographical Note for SCHUFFNER'S DOTS

Schüff·ner \ˈshuef-nər\ , Wilhelm August Paul (1867–1949), German pathologist. In 1904 Schüffner described small round granules appearing in the red blood cells of malarial patients; they are now known as Schuffner's dots.
