Biographical Note for GATCH BED

Gatch, Willis Dew (1878–1954), American surgeon. Gatch did research in experimental and clinical surgery, shock occurring during or after a surgical operation, burns, and diseases of the biliary passages. He introduced his hospital bed in 1909.
