Medical Definition of STREPTODORNASE
: a deoxyribonuclease from hemolytic streptococci that causes hydrolysis of DNA and deoxyribonucleoprotein outside of living cells or in the nuclei of degenerating cells and dissolves pus and that is usually administered in a mixture with streptokinase—see varidase
