Medical Definition of OPHTHALMO-REACTION
: a serological diagnostic reaction in a test formerly used that involved placing a test antigen (as tuberculin) on the mucous membrane of the eye with infection being indicated by a positive response characterized by hyperemia, swelling, and lacrimation
