Medical Definition of BULBOCAVERNOSUS

:  a muscle that in the male surrounds and compresses the bulb of the penis and the bulbar portion of the urethra and in the female divides into lateral halves that extend from immediately behind the clitoris along either side of the vagina to the central tendon of the perineum and serve to compress the vagina—see sphincter vaginae
